Easy Movie Management

Standard with DVDLobby 3.75 is the ability to add movies to the database as simple as entering the UPC code or movie title from the movie into the DVD database (requires Internet connection). Also supported is the means for importing movie collections stored in MyMovies, DVD Profiler3, MovieCollecterz and DVDLobby 2.0. Of course, we believe if you add the optional MLDMR, that you will no longer need or want any other movie catalog solution. 3rd party catalog solutions will never be as tightly integrated as DVDLobby 3.75 / MLDMR for the simplest movie management that doesn't require the user to access the server components or to know what "Export" and "Import" is.

When DVDLobby 3.75 is combined with optional MLDMR media recognition software, this duo becomes the easiest movie management system to add your movies to. Just place your DVD into one of the networked PCs, choose which PC to lookup from, and click the Lookup button and your movie is added to the collection - simple enough for anyone in the house. Movie metadata and coverart are sourced from All Media Guide (AMG), the industry's best movie content source. The "Duo" also supports configurable Post Lookup Processing operations with 3rd party software.

With MLDMR, batch load of movies is supported including auto load of the CX777ES 400 disk changer, and auto load of hard drive based movies in folders. In evaluation, is support to also autoload the Sony XL1B and Powerfile firewire changers. Auto load can save many hours of labor moving to a professional movie management system. Playback Flexibility

With unprecedented support for hard-drive and DVD MegaChanger based systems (or a combination of the two), family and friends simply click on the movie poster to start the movie in the proper changer slot. It's so easy, even your children will be able to watch their favorite movies without ever touching the DVD.

New is the default configuration that supports multiple software DVD players that optimize a Standard Definition movie playback (using TheaterTek) or BluRay DVD using either ArcSoftTMT or PowerDVD software DVD players. You're family doesn't need to know anything about the type of movie file as DVDLobby 3.75 handles which player to launch for which movie type for the best experience.

From a DVDLobby 3.75 user interface, you can choose to playback a harddrive sourced movie on one or more PCs in multiple rooms of the house as part of the standard configuration. Of course, the PC can also be fed into a matrix switcher for even more zone flexibility when controlled by MLServer3's optional matrix switcher drivers.

DVDLobby 3.75 also controls the popular Sony CX777ES. Supports up to 16 CX777ES changers for up to 6400 movies!

New for DVDLobby 3.75, control support is added for the Sony XL1B and Powerfile firewire DVD changers. If you have an IR controlled changer, add the appropriate IR control hardware, and DVDLobby375 can support your existing DVD hardware for a very cost effective solution. Customizable User Interface Options

New for DVDLobby 3.75 is support for completely customizable user interface designs using MainLobby's standard and optional Design software and graphical libraries. DVDLobby 3.75 comes with multiple user interfaces for you to use directly, or to customize exactly to your liking. Standard is a user interface designed for use with a "TV Remote Control" on a "10 foot screen". Also available are optional "Designer Libraries". These user interfaces were created by a professional interior designer for complimenting various decors.

iPhone / iTouch Support

DVDLobby 3.75 also includes support for the very popular iPhone / iTouch WiFi handheld devices. DVDLobby 3.75 exploits MLServer3's built in webserver to display your movie collection in a Safari browser. If MLServer's webserver is exposed to the Internet, you can also view your movie collection via the Internet. In the order column to the right, there is a special iPhone / iTouch combination package. It is intended for users that only want to use their iPhone / iTouch to view and launch your movie collection and don't need the MainLobby3 Client. If you own one of these devices, don't forget there is an optional "MLiPort" driver to remote control even the music functions using an iPort docking station (desktop and in-wall mount units are commercially available - makes a very effective control station!).

Installation

How easy is it to start using DVDLobby 3.75?

Cinemar has spent months in refining the installation process so that it can take as little as a half an hour to start adding and then watching movies on a clean, working PC.

To experience this simplicity, just follow the detailed installation instructions and accept all default choices. Of course, because of the incredible flexibility and customization capability provided, you can take the default installation to any level you would like, as you learn the system and customize it.
