Cinemar's MLDMR Plugin is designed to fascilitate the improved reliability of looking up various music and movies in one's personal collection. There's nothing worse than sitting down for movie night and selecting a movie through your touch-screen only to find out it's been incorrectly identified during initial look-up or inaccurate entry. The MLDMR plugin takes the guess-work out of identifying movies in your Sony changer, on your hard drive or prior to archiving. It also handles look-up of your music stored on your hard drive or during the Ripping process from a CD.
The
MLDMR plugin allows for
a fully customizable and
super easy to use means
for anyone in the household
to add movie and music media
to the MainLobby system
from any PC.
Lookup movies
housed in either a Sony
CX777es or CX7000es Changer, a PC DVD
optical drive, or to lookup
movies that are already
stored on hard drive. You
can select where your movie(s)
are located, and then click
a MainLobby button to perform
the lookup. Once
the movie information is
returned, it can be reviewed,
edited and then stored in
the DVDLobby database for
viewing and launch control.
The Cinemar Content Manager, included with DVDLobby 3.90 enables fine-tuning when necessary of your movie titles.
The MLDMR system is very
flexible in that it allows
for lookups to be done at
any Mainlobby client PC
("Lookup Stations")
on the network from any
of the supported movie hardware
devices on the network.
The user interface is also
completely configurable
using the standard, optional
and user generated graphics
and scenes. Working examples
are included to be used
as a baseline.
MLDMR integrates tightly
with DVDLobby 3.90. It also integrates
with the latest MLCX777es (included with MLServer3)
or MLCX7000es (sold separately) plugin. There
is also integration with
the new MLClientSvc plugin
to enable launching of applications
on any PC on the LAN to
perform post lookup processing
(like to copy files from
optical drive to hard drive
for archiving).
With unprecedented support
for hard-drive and DVD or Blu-Ray Mega-Changer
based systems (or a combination
of the two), family and
friends simply pop in a
movie, click on the lookup
button and can immediately
see "What's Playing
Tonight" With another
click, they can be watching
the movie on any display
they choose in the home.
